Tikka Corner @ Harris Park

Image
When you are a foodie, craving for something to eat can't be on your dictionary. Instead, its called "Passion" for food. Our passion pulled us to Harris Park one more time but this time for same old desi style Bar BQ. Tikka Corner is a classic sub-continent style small restaurant just opposite harris park train station. Although, I must say the Bar BQ is not the best. We tried Chicken Seekh Skewer and I was a little disappointed with its taste esp too much cloves. But then comes Goat Karahi and that was delicious - classic Pakistani-style. I must say the chef does know how to make karahi. I particularly loved their naans which were not too thick and nicely made. I would recommend theis restaurant for Karahi only. A heads up though is the price which is way more than other similar restaurants. Ratings: 2.5 out of 5 ⭐

Juice or Juicer !!!

This was absolute shocking and jaw dropping experience for us when we saw a guy using mixer/juicer directly into a water melon πŸ˜›. This sure is something viral. We experienced this for the first time when we visited Melacca, Malaysia and believe me people were just having the juice because it was made in a unique way. I would call it "Green-Friendly" too. Incredible stuff. Is it for Juice or is it for Juicer !!!

SizZzlingo @ Padstow, Sydney

Take a look at the photo. If you are thinking this is some kind of a burger, then that would be a mistake. Get ready to know about something that is only available in South Aisa - a variety of a burger with a touch of local taste and flavour - we call it "Bun Kebab". Its a very special and famous street food in Pakistan and best part is not only the burger, but the chutney that comes in it, with it, on it (whichever way you want to have it πŸ˜‰). We had a chance to go to a new Pakistani restaurant in Padstow suburb in Sydney - SizZzlingo . The restaurant has a nice feel of a proper Pakistani touch showcasing local culture. We ordered shami bun kebab and paratha boti roll. I would be honest, it wasn't taste like one we expected. The flavour was all over the place and the balance of a proper bun kebab was a little missing. Nevertheless, it is a good introduction of paratha chicken and boti roll and bun kebab to Sydneysiders. The customer service was good and serving was fas

Noodle Hut @ Stanhope Garden

Image
I found, there is a little differnce between Original Thai and Chinese Thai and Noodle Hut at Stanhope Garden would suffice my claim. We created our own Noodle Stir Fried and it turned out pretty well and tasty. It was delicious and well cooked although the price was a little higher considering it is at a Food Court. Nevertheless, if you are around Stanhope, this is a good place to try out nice noodles. Rating: 3 out of 5 ⭐

Ribs & Burgers @ Stanhope Gardens

Who can say no to burgers. I find a little strange to say that "3 big" Fast Food Restaurants in Australia have lost their burger's midas touch. The Ribs&Burger  at Stanhope Garden is a real burger for sure. I didn't want to take the risk and tried the Old School Cheese Burger and I was not disappointed at all. It provided the balance of a burger with perfect match and right mixture of fabulous soft beef, cheese, onions and few pickles. Although fries were separate, these were fresh and super crisp and good quality potatoes. It just felt right to my taste buds and am looking forward to try other burgers for sure. Rating: 4 out of 5 ⭐
